Jochen Becker (Berlin) works as an author, lecturer and curator. He is a founding member of metroZones – Center for Urban Affairs. He has (co)edited several books, e.g. bignes? (2001) or Kabul/Teheran 1979ff (2006), and recently Urban Prayers (2011) as well as Faith his the Place (2012) and Global Prayers (2014). He (co)curated exhibitions such as the Urban Cultures of Global Prayers (2012/13, nGbK Berlin, Camera Austria, Graz) and Self Made Urbanism Rome (2013/14/15, nGbK Berlin, Metropoliz Rome, Maxxi Rome). He was artistic director of the Global Prayers project at Haus der Kulturen der Welt (Berlin), where he curated Aernout Mik – Speaking in Tongues. In 2014/15, Jochen Becker directed the postgraduate Art & Architecture program at the Royal Institute of Art, Stockholm. Since 2014 he co‐curates the ‚station urbaner Kulturen’ in Berlin‐Hellerdorf. Folke Köbberling is an artist and a professor. Until 2013 she worked together with Martin Kaltwasser and took part in numerous exhibitions, e. g. group shows at ZKM Karlsruhe, at Lentos Museum and at OK Centrum for Contemporary Art, Linz and at the Ruhr Triennial (all 2012) and solo shows at Jack Hanley Gallery, NYC (2011), Schaustelle, Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich (2013), Kunstverein Kassel (2014) and El Eco Museo, Mexiko City (2016/17). Lectures, workshops and tutoring, e. g. at Art Center College of Design Pasadena, Metropolitan University London, Universität der Künste Berlin, Hochschule für Angewandte Kunst Vienna and Wayne State University, USA. Since 2016 she teaches at the TU Braunschweig.

Anna‐Maria Gogonjan has a B. A. in Museology, studied Art History at the FU Berlin and is recently doing her Master in Art History at the Technische Universität Berlin. She was born and grew up in Berlin‐Hellersdorf. In her B. A. thesis ‚The City as a Museum’-The Liverpool Biennial she explores the format of the Art Biennial event as an instrument for upgrading the image of a place.
Karin Kasböck is an artist. She has been working together with Christoph Maria Leitner under the name bankleer in Berlin since 1999. Using interventions and Happenings as a starting point they produce documentary‐fictional videos, objects and spacial installations about distortions in society and about processes of transformation. Recent shows and performances include Karachi Biennale (2017), die Irrenden/Max‐Joseph‐Platz München (2016), Berliner Herbstsalon/Maxim Gorki Theater (2013, 2015), into the city/Wiener Festwochen, compeung/Chiang Mai, Steirischer Herbst/
Valeska Peschke has worked and taught internationally as an artist and lecturer at Art Center College of Design (USA), Academy of Fine Arts Dresden, University of the Arts Berlin and at Danube University Krems (Austria). Her longterm conceptual artworks are based on ideas and identities, referring to poetics, politics and ideal places. Her themes comprise the essence of architecture, urban environment and periphery, the substance of transformation, mobility, behaviours, memory and mapping, like the »The Mission of Amikejo« as partner of the Think Tank »European Democracy Lab«, the »Instant Home« series and »Volcanoes in Berlin«. www.valeskapeschke.de
